At MediaTech, you’ll be trained by licensed professionals in the art and technique of drone operation. The Drone Workshop at MTI will prepare you to take your artistic and professional visions to a sky-high level (literally) and also earn your part 107 certification!

About the Workshop

The Drone Workshop offered by MediaTech Institute is designed to provide you with the skills necessary for employment as a licensed drone operator in the highly competitive production industry. During this month-long workshop, you are trained from basic to advanced aspects of drone operation for a multitude of uses in video production, including commercial work, music video work, film work, and beyond.

Beginners are encouraged to participate in this workshop and walk away with professional level skills, as drone operators. Industry professionals will provide you with hands-on training and drone law education for a future in operating drones legally for commercial profit.

Upon successful completion of this month-long drone workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and experience to confidently film professional aerial footage and master the intricacies of compelling drone videography.

You will also walk away with the expertise to pass the Part 107 exam, and will end your workshop experience by compiling a professional demo reel, guided with industry wisdom. Finishing this program will allow you to add “drone operator” to your repertoire, opening the doors to more video production opportunities.
