Enrollment Process & Requirements
Step 1: SCHEDULE ADMISSIONS MEETING
Schedule an initial meeting with admissions, on-campus or virtually. If you are interested in doing an on campus program, you must schedule a facility tour.

Step 2: FINANCIAL AID CONSULTATION
Meet with Financial Aid to complete your FAFSA application, review tuition options, and discuss available funding programs.
Below are the Financial Aid Options that MediaTech Institute will accept if you qualify:
- FAFSA = Pell Grant AND/OR Student Loans
- If you are under 24 years old, a parent or legal guardian FAFSA account may be required. Learn more at the Federal Student Aid Website
- VA Benefits (Veterans Affairs)

- Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) – Texas residents only

- They will need Program name, Price, Length of Program and Catalogue Link to begin their process with you. (Contact Admissions to receive this information)

Step 3: STUDENT SERVICES READINESS
Required Assessments:
Before you begin classes, please complete both steps below:
- Please watch the Video and then take the Online Readiness Assessment.
- Please complete the Student Evaluation.
- Transfer Credits (when applicable)
Our Associate Degree programs include General Education courses (English, Math, Psychology, Speech, and Music Appreciation). You may transfer credits for these General Education courses only — Core program courses cannot be transferred.
Transfer Credit Guidelines
- Official transcripts are required for any transfer credit to be considered.
- Transcripts must be received before your program start date.
- AP, Honors, or Bridge Program credits are not accepted.
- Credits must come from an accredited postsecondary institution.
An Official Transcript is one of the following:
- A sealed, physical copy sent directly from your previous school.
- An official digital copy sent directly to us by your school through a verified transcript service such as:
Step 4: Submit Required Documents
Provide the following items to complete your admissions file. Photos or Digital Copies can be sent to the Admissions Representatives email that you have been talking with:
- High School Diploma/Transcript or GED
- College Transcripts (if applicable)
- Driver's License or State-Issued ID
Step 5: Complete Enrollment Documents
Sign your official Enrollment Agreement via BoldSign to finalize your Enrollment into your program of interest.
