Notice Regarding Accreditation Status

MediaTech Institute — Dallas, Texas

MediaTech Institute is writing to inform you that the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) has placed MediaTech Institute on Warning status. The school received this notification on March 3, 2026. This notice is being provided in accordance with ACCSC’s Rules of Process and Procedure, Section VII (K)(6).

What Is a Warning?

A Warning is an administrative action taken by ACCSC when a school must demonstrate compliance with certain accreditation standards. A Warning does not affect the school’s accredited status. MediaTech Institute remains a fully accredited institution, and your enrollment, financial aid eligibility, and academic progress are not affected by this action.

Reasons for the Warning

ACCSC identified two areas where MediaTech Institute must demonstrate compliance:

  1. Student Achievement — The school must demonstrate acceptable rates of student graduation and employment, supported by verifiable records and documentation.
  2. Advertising Scope — The school must ensure non-accredited workshops are not advertised as within the scope of ACCSC accreditation.

What Is the School Doing?

MediaTech Institute is preparing a comprehensive response to ACCSC addressing each of these areas. The school’s response is due to the Commission by April 3, 2026, and will be reviewed at ACCSC’s May 2026 meeting.
