Dr. Sylento Rodrigious Lewis commits to create an environment where students can “learn, grow, and excel with no excuses for a lack of excellence!” allowing his campuses to be recognized as the finest public and private colleges in our sector. He became one of the first Executive Directors for Altierus Career Colleges and first Vice President of Academics, Operations, and Compliance for Georgia Career Institute and Tennessee Career Institutes and has amassed over twenty (20) years of higher education experience working for public and private institutions. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a Master of Education degree in Online Learning and Theory/Curriculum Development from American Intercontinental University (AIU), and a Doctorate of Education in Administrator and Teacher Leadership from Walden University. As a vanguard of higher education, he has held various other positions including Executive Director, College President, Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of Students, Dean of Student Affairs, Chair – School of Technology, Professor, Faculty/Instructor, and K-12 Principal. His other professional experiences were garnered through service to Florida Career College, Concorde Career College, Altierus Career College, Westwood College, Bryant & Stratton College, ITT Technical Institute, Virginia College, Pulaski Technical College, and Destiny Outreach Elementary, Junior, and High School. These experiences extend across Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
As an Accomplished Leader, Dr. Lewis is actively involved in the community and contributes as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Masonic Order, and Elder of New Hope Ministries International.
