Texas Music Project, along with a donation from the George A. Robinson IV Foundation, is sponsoring and producing a musical experience for their upcoming SnowBall Express 2012 event to be held Nov. 30-Dec. 3 in Dallas, Texas. Mediatech Dallas Film Graduate, Cory Parker, produced an excellent promo video for WhenSeanSpeaks.com When Sean Speaks is organization that was created by Sean Carter and his mom, Jenny Carter, after Sean overcame severe brain injuries sustained as a passenger while in a drunk driving crash. Sean was in a coma and paralyzed. MediaTech’s 201 Film class submits video for Doritos: “Crash the Superbowl” commercial contest!

Mediatech’s 201 Digital Film Class in Dallas has produced and entered a video for the Doritos “Crash the Superbowl” contest. The video is titled “Robot Spider V2” which is now available to view in the contest gallery. The winner will get to work with The Lonely Island (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Shcaffer), get their commercial spot scene by millions, and if that’s not enough, they are throwing in million dollars!! MTI graduate, Lior Spirer, earns Executive Producer credits for “Hurry Up & Wait”, a film about Gringo Star

Lior Spirer graduated from MediaTech in summer of 2007. He joined Malone Pictures in late ’07 and was quickly promoted to V.P. in 2008. In Spring of 2009, Lior and the Malone team went on the road to film “Hurry Up and Wait”. Lior was the film’s Executive Producer. He raised money, figured out the logistics, and obtained the needed sources to complete the film.  Hurry Up and Wait premiered at the Nashville Film Festival, USA Film Festival, and the Los Angeles New Wav International Film Festival.  Click HERE to see the trailer!
