Oceanside’s BOM Instructor joins judges panel for new reality series, Totally Packaged

Mediatech Dallas Film Graduate, Cory Parker, produced an excellent promo video for WhenSeanSpeaks.com When Sean Speaks is organization that was created by Sean Carter and his mom, Jenny Carter, after Sean overcame severe brain injuries sustained as a passenger while in a drunk driving crash. Sean was in a coma and paralyzed. MediaTech Grad presents screening premiere for first short film| Immortal Infection | Dec 3rd @ 9pm

MediaTech graduate Cory Parker will be screening his first short film, “Immortal Infection” on Dec. 3rd. in the theatre at MediaTech Institute. The show starts at 9p.m.   “Immortal Infection”, is a short film about a doctor that falls for a man that others in the town fear may be a vampire. She is tormented by another doctor who claims to be a vampire hunter, as he warns her of the dangers, but also wants her for himself.   This is Cory’s first film as writer, producer and director, among all the other jobs that go with creating a film. Fall 2011 Graduation at MediaTech Houston

On Sunday, September 18, 2011, approximately thirty MediaTech students walked across the stage to receive their Recording Arts diploma after almost a year of studying at the Houston campus. This was only the fifth graduation ceremony to be held at the Houston campus and the turnout was bigger than ever. Elbow to elbow, friends and family gathered together to celebrate the students hard work, efforts, and honor them for completing their course of study. STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Film Graduate, Justin Davis, hits a homerun with the Quad Cities River Bandits

Dallas Digital Film Graduate, Justin Davis (JD), is a a Video Production Assistant for the Quad Cities River Bandits in Davenport, IA.  JD started working as an intern in January of 2011.  He is responsible for  Writing, Directing, Shooting, Editing, and sometimes starring in the In-House Promotional Videos. Just take a look at some of the promotional videos for the River Bandit’s themed nights on their YouTube channel. JD is responsible for  creating Sponsor Graphics (mostly looping animations) for their video boards as well as contributing graphic design assistance when needed. I love Spectrasonic’s Omnisphere. It’s the best sounding softsynth I’ve ever heard; powerful, deep, detailed and, yes, sexy. I love the fact that its sample library is enormous, the presets are wide, varied and bountiful, like Harrods at Christmas time.
